While the bar may appear inviting from the outside , what I encountered behind its threshold was shocking and unacceptable on multiple levels .

From the moment I walked in , it was evident that upkeep was not a priority at this venue. The ground was covered in grime , and a nauseating aroma of stale beer and dirty bathrooms filled the entire bar . With a smell of a mixture of excrement , old age and sour vomit . The bar area , which should be the main attraction of any pub, was piled high with used mugs and debris that looked like it had accumulated over weeks. The toilet was in even more deplorable shape — spilling over , with a cracked flush mechanism and tiles smeared in what I can only assume was human waste .
It wasn’t just a isolated occurrence either. After reading through multiple accounts and talking to people around , it seems that the state of cleanliness (or lack thereof) at Masterson’s is a well-known flaw . Many guests have reported observing cockroaches darting across the counter and traces of mice in the storage spaces . As I asked around, I was stunned to find accusations against him involving sexual harassment , with multiple women reporting interactions of sending unsolicited explicit content .
